A client initiated a project with a new sort of request: build an editable PDF template that could be updated by THD Associates with various Home Services offerings so a custom flyer could be printed for the store. 

We quickly realized that most of the features they were requesting would require the stores to have a paid version of Acrobat, if it was even possible to build in all the bells and whistles they wanted. So I went a different route. I fired up Claude Code and over the course of a week built and tested an HTML-based flyer generator that could be hosted remotely and pushed out to the stores, so so we can maintain a single source of truth rather than hundreds of iterations of an editable PDF, and add features as we need to. 

The possibilities for the stores are numerous. We can easily create a version of this for other departments, such as Pro Xtra, Kids Workshops and any of the showrooms in-store.
