Home Depot Design Center
Associate Creative Director/Designer
The Home Depot Design Center was a different kind of retail experiment — a curated, showroom-style environment designed for customers planning larger projects, particularly kitchen and bath. Where a standard Home Depot store is built for efficiency, the Design Center was built for inspiration and consultation. Two locations operated while I was on the project.

My involvement had two modes. During the day I was managing the project as ACD — coordinating with cross-functional teams, overseeing direction, keeping the work on track. After hours I was at my desk designing most of the pieces you see here, because that's what it took to get them done the way I wanted them done.

The existing brand direction gave us a framework. What I brought was the execution — specific environmental graphics and communication pieces designed to feel elevated without losing the Home Depot DNA. A design-forward retail environment still has to feel like Home Depot. Finding that balance was the real creative challenge.
